2024 SIKC Classic – Kinkaid Lake
The 2024 SIKC Classic at Kinkaid Lake was a true testament to the skill and determination of our anglers. Despite tough fishing conditions, an elite group gathered to showcase their talent and compete for the coveted title of Classic Champion.
In a winner-take-all format, every cast mattered—and once again, Darren Hemker rose to the challenge, securing his second consecutive Classic title. Minutes before launch, Darren joked that he had forgotten the Classic trophy and might have to win it again to bring it home. Fate seemed to agree, as he went on to dominate the field.
Adding to his achievement, Darren also landed Big Bass of the Day, a massive 21” fish caught on a chatterbait in just 4 feet of water—earning him an extra $200 prize.
