Tournament #6 at Devils Kitchen Lake was an unforgettable adventure and a true test of grit. Despite stormy conditions and challenging waters, our anglers showed unmatched determination, skill, and passion—battling the elements to land some impressive catches.
A huge congratulations goes out to Jay Reidler, who earned his first-ever SIKC victory in dominant fashion. Jay not only secured the win but also landed the Big Bass of the tournament, a 20.25-inch kicker fish that sealed the deal. With this performance, it’s easy to see why Jay sat atop the Rookie of the Year standings at this point in the season. Outstanding work, Jay!
Kevin Cox finished in 2nd place, relying on patience and a slow, methodical approach to outlast the tough conditions. His consistency and decision-making proved key as the storms rolled through.
Rounding out the top three, Darren Hemker once again showcased his determination and experience. Darren’s 2023 season was already shaping up to be one for the record books, and another podium finish kept the momentum rolling as the season neared its conclusion.
