2021 Southern Illinois Kayak Club Season

The 2021 Southern Illinois Kayak Club season marked a major step forward for the club, featuring strong turnouts, competitive fields, and a season-long battle that kept the Angler of the Year race tight until the very end. From windy spring events to summer heat and tough bites, anglers were tested across a wide range of conditions throughout the year.

With seven regular-season tournaments, the 2021 trail showcased consistency, adaptability, and perseverance. Multiple anglers found success throughout the season, but it was steady performance across events that ultimately separated the top contenders and shaped one of the most competitive AOY races in club history.
