Sangchris Lake – September 11, 2021

Our final regular-season tournament of 2021 is officially in the books, wrapping up the year at Sangchris Lake for Tournament #7. It was a good—and tough—day on the water, filled with laughs, smiles, fish catches, and some truly unforgettable wind.

A huge congratulations goes out to our top three anglers, who battled the conditions and finished strong to close out the season.

Rece Schneider continued his incredible run, earning his second consecutive victory and third win of the 2021 season with 75.75 inches. An outstanding finish to a dominant year—great job, Rece!

Finishing in 2nd place, Mike Gragert added another impressive result to his rookie campaign, posting 71.00 inches. Mike proved once again that he’s no stranger to the top five, putting together a strong and consistent season.

Wil Abbott wrapped up the season with style, finishing 3rd with 67 inches. This marked three straight third-place finishes to close out the year—an impressive late-season surge.

A huge thank-you goes out to all of our anglers who made the trip to Sangchris Lake. Our members are what make SIKC such a fun and competitive tournament trail, and we can’t wait to see everyone back on the water again in the spring.
